No one likes to be stuck indoors all day. It's frustrating for most of us, and when you've got four legs itching to get outdoors it can be even more of a temptation to find other ways of occupying yourself throughout the day.... It's no surprise that the skirting board has a few bite marks in it!
Dogs require more exercise than us. Not only is walking great for their physical health, it also allows their mind to enjoy the many stimulations of being outside; the smells, sights, sounds and interactions with other animals that your dog can experience on a walk is essential to the health of a happy, social animal.
Starting with an initial consultation, we are able to establish your dog's likes and dislikes, temperament and behaviour. We carry out consultations to discuss how your pet will be managed under our care. We discuss where, when, how long, and under what kind of conditions your animal will be walked.
Your dog will be picked up from your own home and walked in local parkland, nature reserve or large park for a full hour. Whether they like to chase sticks, are nervous of other dogs, or don't like to go far, we can help your dog enjoy their time outside whilst you get on with your daily business.
We carefully assess and structure any group walks to ensure the dogs all get on and are a good 'fit' together so that they all get the attention they need. The objectives are for your dog to have a happy and fun time. All the dogs are given plenty of time to sniff and explore their surroundings. The walks are not simply a frog march to get from A to B; they are an hour of mental, physical and emotional enrichment that can take many different forms each day to keep it fresh and fun.
After the walk your contented best friend will then be safely returned to your home, towel dried off when necessary. Finally, after we have ensured that they are left comfortable and have a supply of fresh water, your house will be locked and secured and your alarm reset ( if one is installed ).
Would you like to avoid having to uproot your cats/small pets when you go away? Cats/small pets can be sensitive to moving and much prefer to stay in the environment that they know. With cat home care from K9 and Feline Pet Services Ltd, your cat/small pet can feel safe and happy in their own territory and environment and we take care of them when you're away.
Whether you have 1 cat/small pet or 10 cats/small pets, they will be fed, watered and pampered, following your normal routine. We will ensure they enjoy all the TLC that they are used to. We usually visit once or twice a day ( although this can be more ) and spend up to 30 minutes with your cat at each visit, during which time we'll keep your home in order too.
